도심형 주민 센터의 건축적 공공성에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Architectural Publicness of the Urban Community Center

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is about the architectural publicness of community centers located in urban areas. The community center is a lower administrativebody of local governments and is the smallest unit of public offices in charge of administrative affairs within the city. Statistics show thatcurrently 35,000 community centers have been set up across the country to perform the public functions of each region. To summarize theviews in this study on the architectural public nature of community centers: The community center can be said to be a public building with apublic character in all aspects of its functions and programs, urban contexts and cultural aspects, as well as its internal and external spaces.
Therefore, the target of the community center is divided into external space, internal space and user space to discuss the architectural publicnature of each of them. It is meaningful that they have looked into the public nature that appears at community centers and revealed theelements of the building space that are revealed through the actual space.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 건축적 공공성이라는 주제가 근린주구의 주민생활권에서 시작되어 더 나아가 도시적 공공성에 이를 수 있도록 하는 초석으로서 주민 센터를 연구하는 것이며, 하나의 건축물에 내재하는 공간적 기능적 대상 연구를 함과 동시에 사용자 입장에서의 공간 구성을 검토한다는 의미가 있다. 비록 주민센터는 작은 규모이기는 하지만 민간의 건축물에서 구현할 수 없는 건축적 공공성을 반영하고 실천할 수 있는 최소단위의 공공시설이기 때문에 이러한 연구가 도시민들에게 더욱 실질적이고 공익적인 건축시설로 발전할 수 있는 밑거름이 될 수 있을 것이다.
