The purpose of this study was to exploration of moderating effect on the relation of between academic achievement pressure and maladjustment. The subjects for this study were 379 students (221 boys and 158 girls) in the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school. I asked them to complete questionnaire about academic achievement pressure, academic stress, maladjustment, ego-resilience and social support.
The result of this study was as followings: First, the ego-resilience moderated the relation between academic achievement pressure and maladjustment. Second, the social support moderated the relation between academic achievement pressure and maladjustment.
Implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for future were discussed.
