크라운 거대고리 화합물을 이용한 알칼리금속과 전이원소의 분리에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Separation of Alkali Metals and Transition Elements Using Crown Macrocyclic Conpound

국문 초록 (Abstract)

산업화로 폐수 발생량의 증가와 함께 중금속으로 인한 수질오염 및 토양오염이 날로 가속화 되어가고 있는 추세이다. 각종 중금속이 함유된 폐기물과 폐수가 급격히 증가하여 환경오염으로 수질, 대기, 토양오염이 심각한 상태에 이르고 있다.
이에 따라 본 연구에서는 환경오염 방지대책과 함께 중금속의 자원개발과 확보의 중대성차원에서 몇가지 금속원소들을 분리위주로 검토하였다.
크라운 거대고리 화합물을 chloroform과 toluene 용매로 용해시켜 알칼리 금속이온을 경쟁추출 분리시 이들의 선택성을 검토하였고 몇가지 전이금속원소들을 경쟁 추출시켜 추출값과 비교하였다. 또한 추출이 양호한 용매 조건하에서 알칼리 금속과 전이금속이온들의 liquid membrane transport값도 비교 검토하였다.
경쟁추출에서 알칼리 금속의 선택성은 chloroform 용매에서 높았고 추출경향은 Na＞K＞Li이었다. 크라운 착화제와 결합된 complex의 안정도 및 친유성의 차이에 의한 것으로 판단된다.
전이금속원소들에 대한 추출경향은 Co＞Cu＞Ni＞Zn 순서이며, 선택성은 liquid membrane transport에서 추출 분리된 것보다 용매 추출의 결과가 매우 높은 결과를 나타냈다.

The results of separation on the solvent extraction and liquid membrane transport of alkali matals(Li, Na, K) and transition elements(Co, Ni, Cu, Zn) using crown ether macrocyclic compound (decyl dibenzo-16-crown ether-5-oxy acetic acid)-solvent are obtained as follows ;
The selectivity is higher in chloroform than in toluene solvent on the competitive solvent extraction of alkali metals, and the order of extractivities is Na＞K＞Li.
It is resulted from the cavity effect of crown ether that the extractivity of sodium is the highest on the competitive solvent extraction of alkal metals.
The selectivity is higher in toluene than in chloroform solvent on the competitive solvent extraction of transition metals, and the order of extractivities is Co＞Cu＞Ni＞Zn.
It is resulted from the stability and the lipophilic of the hexaammine Co(Ⅱ)-crown ether complex that the extractivity of cobalt is the highest on the competitive solvent extraction of transition metals.
