인터넷신문 프론트페이지의 특성 비교고찰: <조선닷컴>과 <한겨레> = A Comparative Study on the Characteristic of Online Newspapers` Front-page: chosun.com and hani.co.kr

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 인터넷신문 프론트 페이지의 특성을 고찰하고자 했는데, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 인터넷신문의 뉴스콘텐츠는 시의성과 상호작용성을 갖는 ``유동성 뉴스``의 특성을 갖고 있으며, 프론트 페이지에서 경성뉴스가 많이 나타났다. 하지만, 인터넷신문에 따라서 경성뉴스가 연성화 현상을 나타냄으로써 프론트 페이지의 연성화 현상을 낳을 수 있다. 또한 인터넷신문 뉴스콘텐츠가 갖고 있는 시의성은 공정성과 정확성을 오히려 해칠 수 있으며, 상호작용성은 뉴스 이용자의 이해와 욕구를 더욱 반영함으로써 뉴스의 상업화와 연성화 현상을 부추길 수 있다는 문제점이 있다. 종이신문의 뉴스 기사를 바탕으로 한 인터넷신문의 뉴스 콘텐츠는 인터넷 환경에서 씨앗뉴스로서 다른 인터넷미디어의 뉴스원이 될 수 있다. 따라서 인터넷신문 뉴스 콘텐츠가 어떠한 특성을 갖고 있는지는 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 이에 인터넷신문 뉴스 콘텐츠에 대한 비판적인 접근은 의미 있는 작업이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is a comparative study on the characteristic of online newspapers` front-page in connection with cosun.com and hani.co.kr. As the result of this research, we need to take a critical view of the characteristic of the internet news contents. The news contents have the characteristic of liquid news, which hold ``immediacy`` and ``interactivity`` from the journalism`s view point. Immediacy and interactivity have merits in journalism, but they can also damage ``accuracy`` and ``de-commercialization`` of the journalism. And the hard news has come up a good deal on the front-page of the news websites. However, the hard news, in particular, political news, exhibits most of the characteristics of ``softness news``. The softness news of the political news produces adverse effect on the journalism. Internet news contents as ``seed news`` get to be aroused criticism, and we need to discuss social responsibility of online newspapers.
