1970년대 한국 현대시의 계보와 유형 연구를 위한 시론 = The Poetics for studying the Patterns and Genealogy of the Poetry in the 1970's

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 1960년대 시인들로부터 ‘획득한 전통’을 토대로 1970년대 현대시의 계보와 유형을 고찰하는 것이다. 이 연구는 대략 세 가지 점에서 현대시 연구에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다.
첫째, 1970년대 시 전체를 체계적이고 총체적으로 연구함으로써 1970년대 시 연구를 활성화하는 계기를 마련할 수 있다. 둘째, 1970년대 시를 대상으로 우리 시사의 주류를 형성해 온 ‘리얼리즘시’, ‘모더니즘시’, ‘전통서정시’의 시적 전통과 계보 그리고 유형을 밝힘으로써 1970년대 시의 시사적 연속성은 물론 이후 시들과의 시사적 연속성을 밝혀낼 수 있다. 셋째, 1960년대부터 서서히 현대시사의 주류에서 밀려나기 시작한 ‘전통서정시’를 반근대 혹은 근대 초월 의지라는 측면에서 새롭게 조망함으로써 ‘전통서정시’가 복고주의나 현실도피가 아니라는 점을 해명할 수 있다는 점이다.
1990년대 이후 우리 문학의 오랜 강박으로 작용했던 진영론적 사고는 서서히 힘을 잃어가고 있다. 필자 역시 이러한 흐름을 좇아 ‘리얼리즘시’, ‘모더니즘시’, ‘전통서정시’라는 범주가 가치 평가의 준거가 아니라, 개별시들이 어떻게 형상화되고 있느냐 하는, 다시 말해 시적 우수성이 가치 평가의 준거가 되어야 한다는 평범한 사실을 이후 진행될 후속연구를 통해 구체적으로 밝혀보고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to show the patterns and genealogy of the poetry in the 1970's based on 'acquired tradition' from poetry and poetics of poets before 1970's.
Along with this paper, a series of studies of the comtemporary poetry will contribute to the field of poetry in three ways. First, It provides a momentum for activating studies of the poetry in 1970's in terms of discussing the poetry in 1970's totally and systematically. Second, I look into the poetic tradition, genealogy and patterns of the realistic and modernistic, and lyric poetry, which playa main role in the history of poetry, through examining the poetry in 1970's and, then, show the continuity of the history of poetry both in the poetry in 1970's and after 1970's. Third, in the light of the anti-modernity and modernistic transcendental will, I illuminate the lyric poetry having being slowly deviated from the mainstream of the history of the modem poetry since 1960's and explain the lyric poetry has not been written from the simple reactionism and escapism.
After the 1990's, 'the campical thought' that literary men view our literature only from a perspective of the Communism or Democratism has been declined gradually. Following such a trend, I show the simple truth that the categories such as the realistic and modernistic, and lyric poetry are not the criterion in value evaluation, but poetic superiority, which is decided according to how well an individual poem is shaped, has to be the criterion.
