In the era of economic uncertainties, a number of solutions have been sought to overcome the issues stemming from it. As part of such efforts, core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR), technological innovation capabilities, and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been suggested as effective solutions to respond to uncertainties.
This study aimed to explore the structural relationship between technological innovation capabilities, productization capabilities, and labor productivity and identify success factors by analyzing using Amos. This study employed various research methods including basic statistical analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, hypothesis testing, and multiple path analysis. The hypotheses established in the path model were all accepted. In addition, this study confirmed that the mediators, technological intensity and business history, had a significant mediating effect on labor productivity. And the study found that the number of researchers, the number of patent rights, and the level of technology have been identified as the factors contributing to the success of the companies deploying technologies of 4IR, providing policy implications.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

불확실한 경제 상황에서 이를 해결하기 위한 많은 방식이 모색되고 있다. 이런 대안으로 4차 산업혁명 핵심기술, 기술혁신 역량, 중소기업의 역할 등이 거론되고 있다.
본 연구는 기술혁신 역량, 제품화 역량, 노동생산성 간의 구조 관계를 연구하여 어떤 성공 요인이 있는지를 규명하고자 Amos를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 방법은 기초 통계량, 상관관계분석, 확인적 요인분석, 가설검증, 다중 경로분석 등의 방법을 통하여 연구하였다. 가설 설정한 경로상 가설들은 모두 채택되었다. 또한 매개변수인 산업 기술집약도와 기업 업력은 노동생산성에 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 4차 산업혁명 기업의 연구원 수와 특허권 수, 기술 수준은 성공 요인으로 확인되어 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
