노인 구강건강 프로그램에 대한 체계적 고찰 = Systematic Review of Oral Health Programs for the Elderly

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적: 본 연구는 노인의 건강을 유지하는데 있어 구강 건강은 가장 중요한 요인으로 노인의 구강건강 프로그램의 효과를 체계적으로 고찰하여 노인 구강건강 상태 개선에 미치는 효과를 규명하고, 노인 대상 구강건강 향상 방안을 위한 프로그램에 대해 분석하고자 하였다.


연구방법: 본 연구는 국내에서 노인을 대상으로 한 연구 중 누리미디어(DBpia), 한국교육학술정보원(RISS), 한국학술정보(Kiss), 교보문고⋅학지사(Scholar), 한국사회과학데이터(KSDC DB) 데이터베이스를 사용하여 학술지에 2009년 1월부터 2023년 10월까지 게재된 문헌을 수집하였다. 문헌 검색에 사용한 주요 검색어는 (“노인” OR “구강”) AND (“건강” OR “프로그램”) 을 사용하였다. 국내 5개의 데이터베이스에서 479편의 논문이 검색되었고, 포함 및 배제 기준에 부합하는 20편을 선정하였다.


연구결과: 전문가 중재 프로그램, 입 체조 프로그램, 자가 관리 프로그램, 의치 관리 프로그램, 이론 교육 프로그램으로 최종 5개의 구강건강 프로그램별로 분석하였다. 세부 프로그램별로 연구 디자인, 연구 대상자, 세부 중재 내용과 결과를 각각 분석하였다.


결론: 노인의 구강 건강을 위해 시행한 프로그램에서는 입 체조 프로그램이 가장 많은 비중을 차지하였으며, 다음 전문가 중재 프로그램, 의치 관리 프로그램, 이론 교육 프로그램, 자가 관리 프로그램 순으로 나타났다. 입 체조 이외에도 노인의 구강 건강을 위한 다양한 중재법을 적용한 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 전문가 중재를 확대하여 노인의 구강건강을 위한 프로그램을 개발한다면 노인의 구강건강을 위한 효율성 극대화에 이바지할 것으로 생각한다.

Objective : This study systematically examined the effectiveness of oral health programs for the elderly, considering oral health to be the most important factor in maintaining the health of the elderly.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on improving the oral health status of the elderly and to analyze programs to improve oral health for the elderly.


Methods : Among the studies targeting the elderly in Korea, this study includes the Nuri Media (DBpia), Korea Education and Research Information Service (RISS), Korea Academic Information (Kiss), Kyobo Book Center and Scholar (Scholar), and Korea Social Science Data (KSDC DB) databases. We collected literature published in academic journals from January 2009 to October 2023. The main search terms used in the literature search were (“elderly” OR “oral”) AND (“health” OR “program”). 479 papers were searched from 5 domestic databases, and 20 papers that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected.


Results : The final five oral health programs were analyzed: expert intervention program, oral exercise program, self-management program, denture management program, and theoretical education program. The research design, study subjects, detailed intervention contents, and results were analyzed for each detailed program.


Conclusion : Among the programs implemented for the oral health of the elderly, the oral gymnastics program accounted for the largest proportion, followed by the expert intervention program, denture management program, theoretical education program, and self-management program. In addition to oral exercises, it was found that there was a need to develop a program that applied various interventions for the oral health of the elderly. In addition, we believe that developing a program for the oral health of the elderly by expanding expert intervention will contribute to maximizing the efficiency of the oral health of the elderly.
