An Interconnected Convergence Service with Integrated Management of national R&D and public domain R&D information to prevent duplicated investment

To consider commercialization at the beginning step of a research planning, the need for information service environment to strategically utilize much information like technology trends, industry analysis and policy including investigation and analysis result of previous research outcome are increasing. To improve productivity of national research, effective sharing and reuse of research outcome in succeeding researches, a construction and operation of information sharing infrastructure based on standard is needed. For the purpose, there is a need to interconnect national R&D information and information of NDSL and utilize the information to construct a service system to support problem solving in R&D activities of researchers. We constructed national R&D information navigation service to enhance management of meta-data to support interconnection, enhancement based on analysis, concept based system, and utilization.
