한국 전통춤 전승과 보존에 관한 현황과 과제 = The current state of affairs and offering options about preservation and Transmission of Korean Traditional Dance

국문 초록 (Abstract)

세계화는 국민에 대한 국가의 통제력을 약화시키는 한편 경제, 정치, 문화 등의 국제적 교류증대로 국가 간 경계를 완화시키고 있다. 국가 간 민족 간의 경계선을 넘어서 동질화 경향까지 나타나고 있다. 개방을 강요당하고 경제적 논리가 우선하는 세계화는 전통의 가치를 평가 절하하고 있다.
전통은 예전부터 오늘날까지 엄연히 이어온 정체성이다. 전통문화의 관심은 문화주체성을 찾기 위한 노력이고, 전통은 인간 행복의 조건인 개인의 존엄성과 관련된다.
문화적 관습은 그 사회의 사회적 맥락 하에서 이해되어져야 하며 다른 문화 다른 전통을 추진하는 과정이다. 정체성인 전통은 개인과 집단 국가의 진보를 위한 필수 조건임을 이해하여야 한다. 문화재 보전은 전통을 지속하는 한편 현실 생활에 맞게 재창조하며 새로운 문화유산을 만들어가는 것이 최선의 관리이자 전승 방법이다.
이 발표는 세계화로 대두되는 변화에 혼란을 겪고 있는 문화의 정체성을 확립하기 위한 노력으로 전통의 중요한 핵심인 전통춤의 보존과 전승이라는 과제를 수행하기 위하여 한국에서 이루어지고 있는 무형문화재로 지정된 춤을 중심으로 연구를 제한하며 현재의 전승과 보존의 현황과 정체성을 분석하고 앞으로의 과제를 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since late 20th century, globalization has come from a revolution in information technology which undermines national control and enhances international exchanges which easies the boundaries between countries. Globalization extends general thinking and trends towards homogenization of nations beyond the boundaries of nations and races. The tendency to disregard obstructions to globalization combined with the logic behind political and economical forces erode traditional values.
Tradition doesn't only mean "old things;" tradition is an identity that has been developed through the past to present.
Attention and study of tradition is a specific expression of cultural independence. Tradition is not only reviving values from the past but it is also realizing responsibility for the future, continuing efforts to restore the past, and research to assimilate the new culture.
Establishing one's cultural identity is finding oneself and it is cherishing one’s differences from others. However, as people should respect one’s own culture, it is important to concede that there are differences between cultures with respect to others'. This is related with, in multi cultural era, a method that inherits and develops cultural traditions.
This paper is a part of an effort to establish cultural identity, in this it tries to analyze the current state of affairs and policy about preservation and transmission of traditional culture, and offers options for the present/future.
