The purpose of this study is to analyze how local cultural tourism fiscal expenditure affects the influx of living population. To this end, we examine the concept of the recently introduced living population and attempt an empirical analysis on how local fiscal expenditure affects the influx of living population. The analysis results showed that local cultural tourism fiscal expenditure had a statistically significant effect on the number of visitors to the depopulated areas and credit card consumption. This is seen as a positive result in that it is possible to try various cultural tourism policies to increase the living population even in depopulated areas and show the results of government spending. The main purpose of this study is to analyze whether local cultural tourism fiscal expenditure affects the influx of living population, but in addition, local transportation and logistics fiscal expenditure also had a statistically significant effect on the time of stay. In addition, it was found that local industrial SMEs and energy fiscal expenditures affected credit card consumption, and agriculture, marine, and fisheries fiscal expenditures affected SNS mentions. This suggests that individual policy problems are related to other policy agendas, so policy problems should be reviewed and responded to from an integrated perspective.
