초등학교 음악 감상수업에 나타나는 교사 발문 분석 = An Analysis of Teacher Questions in Music Listening Classes in Elementary School

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 음악 감상수업을 계획 및 실행하여 나타나는 교사의 발문을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 연구자가 교사로서 음악수업을 직접 실시한 실행연구방법으로 2023년 6월부터 12월까지 이루어졌다. 관련된 선행 연구와 국내외 음악과 교육과정 내용체계와 기준을 바탕으로 음악 감상수업에서의 교사 발문 분석틀을 만들었다. 연구자는 초등학교 4학년을 대상으로 3회의 실행 주기로 총 7차시의 음악 감상수업을 계획하였다. 수업을 계획하면서 교사 발문은 사실 확인 위주의 수렴적 발문에서 점차 학생들의 분석, 해석을 요하는 발산적인 발문으로 구성하였다. 또한, 수업 단계를 진행할수록 단순한 느낌을 묻는 발문에서 음악 요소와 연관지어 표현적 특징을 묻는 발문으로 변화하도록 구성하였다. 수업을 한 후 녹화 자료를 전사하여 교사 발문과 학생 수행을 분석하였다. 교사의 수업 성찰 일지, 수업에 사용한 자료, 학생 활동 결과물, 학생 인터뷰 등을 추가로 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 한 주제의 수업이 끝나면 분석 후 개선점을 반영하여 다음 수업을 수정, 보완하였다. 같은 방법으로 3차 수업까지 실시한 후, 분석 내용을 종합하였다. 연구 결과, 교사 발문과 수업 활동에 따른 학생의 성취 변화는 ‘음악 요소를 점차 구체적으로 표현하게 됨’, ‘음악 요소에 따라 음악이 어떻게 표현되는지 나타내게 됨’, ‘음악에 대한 해석과 가치판단을 적극적으로 하게 됨’으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 초등학교 음악 감상수업에서 기대되는 교사의 발문을 보다 구체화하고, 음악 감상수업의 개선을 위한 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the teacher's questions that appear by planning and implementing elementary school music listening classes. This study was conducted from June to December 2023 as a practical research method in which the researcher directly conducted music classes as a teacher. Based on related prior research and music curriculum standards, a framework for analyzing teacher questions in music listening classes was created. The researcher planned a total of 7 music listening classes with 3 execution cycles for the 4th grade of elementary school. In planning the classes, teacher questions consisted of divergent questions that gradually required students' analysis and interpretation from convergent questions focused on fact-checking. In addition, as the class stage progressed, it was structured to change from questions about simple feelings to questions about expressive characteristics in connection with music elements. After the classes, the researcher transcribed the recorded data to analyze the teacher question and student performance. The teacher's reflection journal, meterials used in the classes, student activity results, and student interviews were additionally used as analysis data. At the end of the class on one topic, the next class was revised and supplemented by reflecting the improvements after analysis. After conducting the 3rd class in the same way, the analysis contents were synthesized. As a result of the study, students' achievement changes according to teacher questions and class activities were found to be "increasingly more specific expression of music elements," "expression of how music is expressed according to music elements," and "active interpretation and value judgment of music." Through this study, teachers' questions expected in elementary school music listening classes can be further specified, and implications for improving music listening classes can be provided.
