국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2024-25 시즌 프리미어리그 중계채널의 동적 스코어보드에 나타나는 득점 순간의 문화적 요소와 동적 표현 방식을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 프리미어리그가 20개 클럽에 맞춘 전용 골 모션그래픽을 도입한 것은 스포츠 시각 문화의 변화를 보여주며, 기존 연구가 주로 정적인 시각 요소에 집중되어 있어 모션그래픽에 대한 학술적 탐구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 요소 분류법과 비교 분석법을 활용하여 프리미어리그 20개 클럽의 골 모션그래픽을 문화적 출처에 따라 분류하고, 도시 규모에 따른 시각적 표현의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 골 모션그래픽의 문화적 요소는 클럽 문화 14개 클럽, 도시 문화 7개 클럽, 팬 문화 5개 클럽의 세 유형으로 분류되었다. 엠블럼 확장 그래픽이 10개 클럽에서 가장 많이 활용되었으며, 동물 모티프가 7개 클럽에서 주요 시각적 주제로 나타났다. 둘째, 런던이 아닌 도시 클럽들은 도시 문화 요소를 적극 활용한 반면, 런던 소재 클럽들은 클럽 고유의 문화적 요소를 강조하는 경향을 보였다. 셋째, 동적 표현 방식에서는 다음 다섯 가지 구체적 전략이 득점 순간의 시각적 언어를 구성하여 승리감과 공격성을 전달하고 있다. ①방향성은 '아래에서 위로'와 '왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로'의 일관된 흐름을 통해 긍정적 연상을 불러일으킨다. ②엠블럼 동적 처리는 동물 요소가 정적인 상태에서 동적인 공격 자세로 전환되는 특징을 보인다. ③색채 표현은 구단의 대표색을 기반으로 하며, 더비 경기에서는 뚜렷한 문화적 대립 분위기를 형성한다. ④소리의 시각화는 구단의 응원가와 팬들의 함성을 동적 시각 요소로 변환한다. ⑤4초라는 제한된 시간 안에 'GOAL' 문자와 구단의 특색 있는 문화 요소를 자연스럽게 결합하여 최대한의 시각적 식별 효과를 실현한다. 본 연구는 스포츠 시각 문화 연구 영역을 정적 요소에서 모션그래픽으로 확장했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 다양한 리그 비교 연구, 팬 반응 연구, 시간적 변화 연구 등으로 발전시킬 수 있을 것이다.

This study analyzes cultural elements and dynamic expression methods in goal moments of Premier League scoreboards during 2024-25 season. Premier League's introduction of customized goal motion graphics for 20 clubs demonstrates sports visual culture transformation. Since existing research primarily focused on static visual elements, academic exploration of motion graphics as new visual culture is necessary.This study employed element classification and comparative analysis methods to categorize the goal motion graphics of 20 Premier League clubs according to their cultural sources and analyzed differences in visual expression based on city scale. The research findings are as follows. First, the cultural elements of goal motion graphics were classified into three types: club culture (14 clubs), city culture (7 clubs), and fan culture (5 clubs). Emblem extension graphics were most frequently utilized by 10 clubs, while animal motifs appeared as the primary visual theme in 7 clubs. Second, clubs located outside London actively utilized city cultural elements, whereas London-based clubs tended to emphasize their unique cultural elements. This reveals the difference in visual strategies between multi-club cities and single-club cities. Third, in terms of dynamic expression methods, the following five specific strategies constitute the visual language of goal moments, conveying a sense of victory and aggression: ①Directionality evokes positive associations through consistent flows of 'bottom-to-top' and 'left-to-right'; ②Dynamic emblem processing features the transformation of animal elements from static states to dynamic attacking postures; ③Color expression is based on clubs' representative colors, creating distinct cultural confrontational atmospheres in derby matches; ④Sound visualization converts club anthems and fan chants into dynamic visual elements; ⑤Within the limited time of 4 seconds, 'GOAL' text is naturally combined with clubs' distinctive cultural elements to achieve maximum visual identification effects.This study is significant in that it expands the research field of sports visual culture from static elements to motion graphics, and can be developed into comparative studies with various leagues, fan reaction studies, and temporal change studies in the future.
