An effect that taekwondo instructor's leadership type has on middle schoolㆍhigh school female taekwondo player's exercise commitment and performance

This study was made in order to examine what effect a taekwondo instructor's leadership type had on middle school ㆍ high school female taekwondo player's exercise commitment and performance. Players who participated in National Taekowndo Championships by Korea Taekwondo Association were selected as study participants, and the study was carried out. And a total of 350 questionnaires (middle school=147, high school=150) were distributed, and then were collected. Among them, 297 questionnaires were used as actual data for the study excluding 53 questionnaires judged to be unreliable and improper, and were computer-processed according to analysis purpose by using statistical program PASW 22.0 Version. With regard to methods used in this study, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and post-hoc test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis was used, and the obtained results are as follows.
In the results of analysis, first of all, in the test of difference according to demographic characteristics, with regard to a difference in leadership type, a significant difference was shown according to school and whether to win a prize. And with regard to a difference in exercise commitment, a statistically significant difference was shown according to all of school, weight class, and whether to win a prize. Besides, with regard to a difference in performance, a statistically significant difference was shown according to all of school, weight class and whether to win a prize.
Next, with regard to an effect that instructors' leadership type had on middle schoolㆍhigh school female taekwondo players' exercise commitment, it was shown that training behavior and autocratic behavior, sub-factor of instructor's leadership type, had a significant effect on exercise commitment. And with regard to an effect that instructor's leadership type had on performance, it was shown that training behavior, sub-factor of instructor's leadership type, had a significant effect on performance.

본 연구는 태권도 지도자 리더십 유형이 중ㆍ고등학교 여자 태권도선수의 운동몰입 및 경기력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구 대상으로는 전국 협회장기 전국단체대항태권도대회에 참여한 선수들로 선정하여 진행되었으며, 총 350부(중학교=147, 고등학교=150)의 설문지를 배포한 후 수거하였다. 그 중 신뢰성이 떨어지고 적절하지 않다고 판단되는 설문지 53부를 제외한 297부를 실제 연구 자료로 사용하였고, PASW 22.0 Version 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석 목적에 따라 전산처리 하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 방법은 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, t-test, 일원변량분석 및 사후분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다.
분석한 결과 먼저 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 차이 검증에서는 지도자 리더십 유형의 차이에서 소속, 입상유무에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 운동몰입의 차이에서는 소속, 체급, 입상유무 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한, 경기력의 차이에서도 소속, 체급, 입상유무 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다.
다음은 중ㆍ고등학교 여자 태권도선수들의 지도자 리더십 유형이 운동몰입에 미치는 영향에서 지도자 리더십 유형의 하위 요인인 훈련적 행동, 권위적 행동이 운동몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지도자 리더십 유형이 경기력에 미치는 영향에서는 지도자 리더십 유형의 하위 요인인 훈련적 행동이 경기력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
