서울特別市 國民學校 敎師의 家庭管理 實態調査 = A Survey on Home Management of Primary School Teachers

For the sound development of the home. household management should be reasonable
and logical. A housewife should have an adequate knowledge of householdold management. Methods of managing households depend on the type of home, contempory styles and the housewife. Therefore, the household manager's attitude towards life or valuation a domestic life affects her manner of householding.
So in this paper, I intend to investigate the nature of our societys householding managers and analyze and study them, comparing male teachers and female teachers who are involved in teaching at primary school.
The teachers interviewed are Seoul resident;
male teachers 200 persons
female teachers 270 persons
In conclusion, there are large differences between the two groups of teachers, husbands and housewives, in terms of their attitudes and ways of thinking about household management.
1. Views on Specific Gravity of Family Budget and Pockect Money
Balance consciousness on family budget and pocket money is insufficient in general. Female teachers have a stronger consciousness than male teachers.
2. Views on Method of Family budget management
Female teachers manage a household unreasonably and unschemingly in terms of a domostic account hook, a budget, settlement of accounts.
3. Views on Children Education as a Consumer
Generally, it shows high consciousness towards children education as a consumer. Female teachers have a passive attitude towards children consumering education. On the other hand male teachers have a positive attitude, there are many indifferent persons, also.
4. Views on Saving
Female teachers recognize the necessity of long housekeeping plan, manage reasonably, and comparatively the ratio of saving is revealed high.
5. Views on Purchasing
In female teachers the ratio of direct shopping is revealed low, in the other hand, they have dealing with salesman as high ratio and use much foreigners. Moreover prosecution consciousness is insufficient.
