도서관의 장기발전계획 수립에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Establishment of Library`s Long-range Plans

국문 초록 (Abstract)

급변하는 디지털 정보환경에서 도서관이 보다 높은 경쟁력을 유지하기 위해서는 대내외적인 환경의 변화와 도서관 내부의 여건들을 고려하여, 적절한 전략과 실행 계획을 수립하고 실천함으로써 도서관에 주어진 본연의 사명과 목적을 달성하여야 한다. 이를 위해 도서관은 장기발전계획서를 수립하고 명문화하여 도서관의 비전, 사명, 목적, 목표, 전략, 실행계획 등을 대내외에 천명하여야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 도서관의 장기발전계획 수립 사례에 대한 검토를 통하여 도서관에서 전략적 계획수립이 갖는 의미를 재인식하고, 나아가 B대학교 학술정보관에 대한 집중적인 탐구를 통하여 타산지석의 교훈을 얻고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order for the library to maintain a relatively high competitiveness within a rapidly changing environment of information, it is necessary to accomplish its proper mission and goal through appropriate strategy and action plans by considering both inside and outside changes, as well as the given conditions within the library. For this, the library must utilize stipulated long-range plans in order to clarify the library`s vision, mission, objectives, goal, strategy, action plans. Hence, this research seeks to reappraise the significance of the strategic accomplishment of goals in the library through examination of a specific example of library long-term goal establishment, as well as gain an objective lesson from an intensive investigation of the successful case of the B University`s library.
