NCS교육과정을 통한 전문대학의 교양교과목 개편에 관한 연구 -Y대학의 사례를 중심으로- = A Study on the Curriculum of Specialized Universities through the NCS Education Program -On the Case of Y University-

In order to create an ability-oriented society that evaluates ability, not academic background, professional universities are actively applying job-related skills such as knowledge and technology to industrial sites. By emphasizing vocational basic skills education that all professional workers should have regardless of their occupation, the school is organizing and operating vocational basic skills education courses in the curriculum reform Develop the NCS curriculum at Y junior college to review the importance of basic vocational ability corresponding to liberal arts. As a result, the gap between job performance and education training demanded by industrial sites will disappear, inefficient human resources development problems and criticism that excessive space construction is increasing re-education costs and delaying employment time. Moreover, through a student-centered curriculum, learners' motivation is also judged to be high, and professors will also be able to participate in the class knowing the learners' requirements, which will help improve the quality of the classes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

전문대학은 학력이 아닌 실력이 평가받는 능력중심사회를 만들기 위한 방법으로 산업현장에서 업무수행에 필요한 지식과 기술 등 직무 관련 능력을 표준화한 NCS(National Compete ncy Standards, 국가직무능력표준)를 교육과정에 반영하여 실무중심 교과로 교육하고 있다.
직무를 막론하고 모든 직업인이라면 갖추어야 하는 직업기초능력에 대한 교육을 강조하며 교육과정개편에 직업기초능력 교양교육과정을 편성‧운영하고 있다. 본고에서는 경북의 Y전문대학의 NCS교육과정 개발을 통해서 교양교과목에 해당하는 직업기초능력의 중요도를 각 계열별로 살펴본다. 그 결과를 토대로 각 계열에 알맞은 직업기초능력을 편성한다. 또한, 학습자중심의 교과과정편성을 통해 학습자의 수업에서의 의욕 또한 높을 것으로 판단되며 교수자입장에서도 학습자의 요구사항을 인지하고 수업에 참여하기 때문에 수업의 질적향상에 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.
