Recent days, usage of polymer coated steel is increasing rapidly due to its improved performance. Inspite their best properties, they expose some potential problems like delamination between layers. Delamination between Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) layers in polymer coated steel has been analysed. Peel test experiment and 3D cohesive elements peel test simulations were conducted to finalize cohesive zone parameters.
