Recently, many local governments in the country continues their efforts in the tourism industry vitalization. Nowadays the number of foreign tourists is increasing constantly because of national brand value growing though current diffusion of Korean pop culture and international events hosted. But supply of tourist information center, issue brochure and so on considering the information accessibility and convenience for foreign tourists visiting the local attractions didn’t come into wide use so we couldn’t maximize high quality tourism resources. Therefore I suggest that translate the national tourist information and a various tourist routes in a foreign language and supply these through smart-phone-based augmented reality technology and location-based services to solve that problem in this paper.
