With the purpose of exploring measures for the Department of Taekwondo to nurture global Taekwondo talents in China, this study developed the following conclusions: First, when it comes to communication skills, it is required to have the knowledge of fundamental Taekwondo terms and be able to speak basic Chinese. It is also required to learn both the Korean martial art and Chinese and have a strong will to acquire the language. Second, as for the preliminary information on Taekwondo in China, Taekwondo gyms in China provide more weekend lessons than weekday lessons and offer no shuttle bus, and many parents attend the lessons. Third, regarding the professional knowledge and skills of Taekwondo, it is necessary to provide professional instruction for each area of poomsae, demonstration, and kyorugi as well as interesting Taekwondo performance and practical self-defense techniques. Fourth, as for leadership, it is necessary to set a good example and role model, be punctual and put on a big and firm voice for lessons, and play a bridging role for smooth exchanges between South Korea and China. Fifth, when it comes to creativity, due to the widespread Korean Wave, the ability to create Taekwondo gymnastics with Korean popular songs is required. It is also important to be equipped with the ability to plan and operate weekly, monthly, and level-based programs, operate advanced Taekwondo gyms, and provide innovative Taekwondo application programs.
