􋺷<라 셀레스티나>􋺸에 나타나는 스페인 중세 후기 지배 이데올로기에 대한 전복과 실패 = The Subversion and Failure of the Ruling Ideology of the Late Middle Ages in Spain as Represented in La Celestina

국문 초록 (Abstract)

페르난도 데 로하스(Fernando de Rojas)는 시장에서 구한 1막의 연극을 바탕으로 총 20막을 더한 􋺷라 셀레스티나 La Celestina􋺸를 창작하였다. 르네상스시대로 넘어가기 전 스페인 중세 후기에 나타나는 다양한 인간상을 보여주면서당대 큰 인기를 끌었고 지금까지도 􋺷돈 키호테 Don Quijote􋺸를 포함하여 스페인 고전 작품을 대표하게 되었다. 이에 본 논문은 페르난도 데 로하스가 􋺷라 셀레스티나􋺸에서 셀레스티나를 포함하여 다양한 인물들을 통해 스페인 중세 후기지배 이데올로기에 반하여 전복 시도를 한 과정에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 본 작품이 가톨릭 교회 중심의 신 중심 사회에 대하여, 여성과 남성을 이분법으로 나누는 것에 대하여, 왕과 귀족 중심의 신분제 사회에 대하여 체제 전복 양상을 보이고 있으며 결국 지배 이데올로기로 회귀하며 실패했지만 이러한 시도가 있었다는 것을 밝히고자 한다.

Fernando de Rojas created La Celestina based on a one-act play he found in the marketplace, and added 20 more acts to it. It was very popular at the time, showing various human images that appeared in the late medieval period of Spain before the Renaissance, and has come to represent Spanish classical works, including Don Quijote. This paper examines how Fernando de Rojas attempts to subvert the dominant ideology of the late Middle Ages in Spain through various characters, including Celestina, in La Celestina. This work aims to reveal that there were attempts to overthrow the Catholic Church-centered, God-centered society, the dichotomy between women and men, and the king- and aristocracy-centered, hierarchy-centered society, although these attempts were unsuccessful as they eventually returned to the ruling ideology.
