This research explains domain analysis as a method of a qualitative data analysis. Domain analysis is also called cultural domain analysis, as it has been considered as a method for cultural exploration. Although the domain analysis has the most extensive history in traditional ethnographic research and been widely used as a basic analysis method, there are only a few related researches, including the Spradley(1980) and Kim&Kim(2015). Therefore, in this research, we explore the concept, traits, and typical technique of domain analysis; including Freelisting, Pilesorting, Paired comparison. Moreover, researchers introduce a new process of domain analysis, based on the findings of Spradley(1980) and Newing et al.(2011). The research is expected to help researchers in the field, by suggesting diverse and practical methods of domain analysis.
