문화목회에 대한 기독교윤리적 성찰 ‐ 문화목회의 근거 모색과 문화목회 실제에 대한 비평 = Christian Ethical Reflection on Cultural Ministry: Exploring Arguments for Cultural Ministry and Assessing its Implementation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국교회 안에 신앙공동체 안팎을 포괄하는 문화사역에 대한 목회적 관심이 증가하고 있고 또 실제적으로 문화목회의 결실들이 양산되고 있다는 점은 기지의 사실이다. 한국교회의 문화목회에 대한 비평적 성찰과 탐구는 이론적 실천적 성숙을 위해 필수적인 과업이라고 할 것인데, 문화목회의 실행과 유효성에 대한 실천적 담론의 기반은 물론이고 신학적으로 성찰하고 탐구하여 이론적 기반을 충분히 해명하고 또 심화된 형태로 구축해 나가야 할 것이다. 본 논문의 목적은 문화목회의 신학적 윤리적 근거를 탐색하고 기독교윤리적 관점에서 비평적으로 성찰하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국사회의 문화적 맥락에 문화목회를 위치시켜 역사적 함의를 살필 것이며 문화목회의 주된 근거를 문화선교 신학, 공공신학 그리고 사랑과 정의를 중심으로 논구할 것이다. 문화목회의 실제에 대해 기독교윤리적으로 성찰하고자 하는데, 성찰을 위한 구체적 현장들로 문화목회를 위한 ‘공간’, 교회 카페, 평생교육원 등을 다룰 것이다. 문화목회 성숙을 위한 기독교윤리적 제안을 함으로 본 논문을 맺고자 한다.

It is a well-known fact that within the Korean Church, pastoral interest in cultural ministry, which encompasses both inside and outside the faith community, is increasing, and the fruits of cultural ministry are actively being produced. Critical reflection and exploration of the cultural ministry of the Korean Church can be considered an essential task for both theoretical and practical maturity. It is necessary to establish a sufficient theoretical foundation through theological reflection and exploration, as well as the basis for practical discourse on the implementation and effectiveness of cultural ministry. This foundation will require a more in-depth explanation and construction. The purpose of this article is to explore the theological and ethical basis of cultural ministry and critically examine it from a Christian ethical standpoint. To achieve this, we will delve into the historical implications of cultural ministry by situating it within the cultural context of Korean society. Additionally, we will discuss the key arguments of cultural ministry, focusing on cultural mission theology, public theology, love and justice. The goal is to conduct a theological and ethical reflection on the reality of cultural ministry. Specifically, we will examine the ‘space’ for cultural ministry, church cafes and lifelong education centers, as specific locations for analysis and reflection. Through this exploration, we aim to conclude this article by presenting a Christian ethical proposal related to cultural ministry.
