1. The diameter of the fruiting branch at 3cm ahead of branch base with one fruit was bigger than the diameters of the fruiting branches with 2∼5 fruits on the final measurement date of November 6th for the branches with 10.1-12.Omm at 0.5cm ahead of branch base on the initial measurement date of May 22nd in 2001.
2. The yearly diameter increment for the fruiting branches of 12.1-14.Omm size at 0.5cm ahead of branch base from the initial measurement on May 22nd to the final measurement on November 6^(th) 2001 of the fruiting branches with 2∼3 fruits was smaller than the diameter increment of the fruiting branches with 4∼6 fruits. However, the diameter sizes at 3cm ahead of branch base conformed with the MAFCOT showed non-significant differences between the fruit numbers on the branch.
3. The diameter increment of the fruiting branches of 14.1-16.Omm size at 0.5cm ahead of branch base was smaller for the fruiting branches with 7 fruits than fruiting branches with 3∼6 fruits. The diameter size at 3cm ahead of branch base was smaller for the branch with 7 fruits than the branches with 3∼6 fruits and same results were shown for the branches of 16.1-18.Omm at 0.5cm ahead of shoot base on May 22nd 2001.
4. The yearly increment of the fruiting branch diameter at 0.5cm ahead of branch base for the branch diameters from 8.1mm to 18.Omm was bigger in branch with thicker diameter over 14.1mm.
5. In all the investigated data, the diameters of the fruiting branches affected by difffrent diameter sizes and diffarent number of bearing fruits were the bigger the final diameters at 3cm ahead of branch bases when the bigger the initial diameters at 0.5cm ahead of branch bases.
6. The ramified fruiting branch numbers were larger for the branch diameter at 0.5cm ahead of branch base of 14.1-16.Omm with 7 fruits and larger for the branches of 16.1-18.Omm with 6 and 8 fruits.
7. The thicker fruiting branches at 0.5cm ahead of branch base showed longer total newly gown branches of all lengths in terminal buds as leaf buds and/or flower buds.
8. The smaller fruit numbers on the fruiting branches of 10.1-12.Omm at 0.5cm ahead of branch base showed the bigger the number of branches with terminal leaf buds only.
9. The appropriate fruit numbers of 'Fuji' fruits with over 300g average sizes were considered to be 3 fruits for branch diameter between 8.1-10.Omm, 4 fruits for branch diameter between 10.1-12.Omm, 5 fruits for branch diameter between 12.1-14.Omm, 6 fruits for branch diameter between 14.1-16.Omm, 8 fruits for branch diameter between 16.1-18.Omm, respectively.
