현대 환경 도예 연구: 人間像의 조형미를 기반으로

China's view of nature is centered on "heaven, earth and man". God's Word is "God's will," that is, man is the place where the order of the universe is practiced, and man's practice itself is the way to the unity of heaven and man. There is a close connection between man and the earth, between man and nature, between man and the environment, using human modeling to express the order of heaven and earth, and realize the idea of unity of heaven and man. At the center of the cosmic order, attempts are made to express the human image related to environmental pottery art from the concept of "heaven and earth and man."
This study is a "Modern Environmental Pottery Modeling Study" to explore the beauty of human modeling, the subject of the cosmic order, and to produce works. Firstly, this paper analyzes and discusses the influence of traditional Chinese view of nature on the thinking world and environmental pottery modeling. Since then, in order to express the image of pottery work in detail, the beauty of the shape of the human image has been studied. Further analysis and research on the specific cases of world artists with different works by the author have established an image that can be combined with modern environmental pottery.
First, it examines the traditional Chinese view of nature, the beauty of the development of pottery, and the thinking of "heaven and earth and man" under the theoretical background. Based on the traditional view of nature, this paper summarizes the modeling characteristics of environmental ceramics and studies the aesthetic significance of modeling ceramics. We try to find a way to contribute to the modeling beauty of Chinese pottery by the natural view of "heaven, earth, and man" embodied or embedded in the expression of pottery by human image.
On the basis of these studies and analyses, the paper analyzes the modeling characteristics of modern environmental ceramics from the aspects of formal expression, decorative language, emotional resonance. This paper studies the reappearance of the traditional view of nature in modern environmental ceramics, discusses the contribution of modern environmental ceramics to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional figures. Based on these theoretical backgrounds and the study of modern development process, we try to consolidate the identity and explore new possibilities in the ready-made ceramic work.
Finally, this thesis will focus on the study of the beauty of Chinese traditional figure modeling, combine the study and practice in Korea, analyze Korea's view of "the unity of heaven and man" nature, and apply it to my creation. Starting from the formation of human modeling form, combining modeling elements such as modeling, proximalism and glaze color, this paper creates its own artistic language and puts forward aesthetic modeling language related to modern human. The artistic characteristics of the traditional Chinese figure sculptural beauty are expressed in the symbolic art form in the ceramic sculpture of his character.
Therefore, it re-examines and applies the aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chinese traditional view of nature, and studies the influence of Chinese traditional view of nature on pottery. It also provides a new form of challenge for the development of pottery. This study not only combs out the historical origin, aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chinese traditional human sculptural beauty, but also analyzes the Chinese view of nature and Korean view of nature.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중국에서 ‘천·지·인’이라는 개념은 가장 중요한 인간과 자연과의 유기적 관계성을 말해 주는것이다. 하늘의 이치 ‘天理는 人事에서 떠나지 않는다’, 즉 인간은 우주의 질서를 실천하는 곳이며 인간의 실천 자체가 천인합일에 도달하는 경로이다. 인간과 천지, 인간과 자연, 인간과 환경은 모두 하나로 연결되는 관계를 가지고 있으며 인간은 행위로 하늘과 땅의 질서를 표현하고 천인합일의 이념을 실현하는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구자는 이러한 우주 질서의 중심에서 그 진리를 실행하는 주체인 인간의 이미지를 ‘천․지․인’의 관점에서 환경과 유기적 관계의 형상으로 표현 하고자 하였다.
본 논문은 ‘현대 환경 도예 조형성 연구’이며 자연과 유기적 관계성을 지닌 내용을 주제로 한 환경 도예를 위한 인간상의 조형미를 연구하여 작품을 제작하고자 한다. 가장 먼저 중국 전통 자연관의 사유 세계와 환경 도예의 조형성에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 탐구하고 이를 이론적 기초로 하여 도예 작업에 구체적인 형상 표현을 위해 인체의 조형미를 연구하였다. 또 한 연구자는 다른 작가들의 구체적인 사례들을 분석하고, 연구하여 현대 환경 도예에 접목할 수 있는 인간상을 연구 하였다.
첫 번째, 중국에 전통적인 자연관이자 중국 문화 예술의 중심적 사유로서 이론적 배경이 되어온 '‘천·지·인’(天地人)'에 대한 개념를 고찰하였다. 이 전통 자연관의 사유를 바탕으로 한 환경 도예 작업의 조형적 특징을 연구하였다. 인간 형상으로 도자 조형의 이미지를 연구를 위해 중국 역사 속의 인체 표현성을 중심으로 인체 표현 특성을 연구하여 인체의 조형미를 연구하고자 하였다.
그리고 이 연구들과 분석을 기초로 형식 표현, 장식 언어, 감정적 공감(情感共鸣) 등의 방면에서 현대 환경 도예의 조형 특징을 분석하는 데 중점을 두었다. 현대 환경 도예에서의 전통 자연관의 이해를 바탕으로 현대적 환경 도예의 이론적 재구성과, 인체 미의 조형적 표현의 사례로 주러경, 뤼핀창 등의 중국 작가와 루스 더크워스, 조지 장클로 모세, 니키 드 상팔 등 해외 작가들의 예시를 통해 이를 연구하였다. 이러한 이론적 배경과 현대적인 전개 과정의 연구를 바탕으로 환경과 유기적인 관계를 통 해 드러난 인체미에 대한 조형성의 사례를 연구하여 중국의 사유관과 조화되는 현대 환경 도예애 또 다른 연구 사례를 제안하여 환경 도자 예술의 새로운 가능성을 모색하고자 한다.
이를 위해 연구자는 자연과 유기적인 관계성을 통 해 인체 조형미에 관한 연구하였는데, 중국의 인체 조형성의 사유 개념과 더불어 한국에서의 조형적 채험과 미학적 실천의 영향들이 혼용된 조형 형식을 중심으로 작품을 연구하였다. 인간의 조형적 형태의 형식에서부터 출발해서 조형, 근리, 유약 등 조형 표현 요소를 결합된 예술 언어를 창조하고, 현대의 인간 미에 관련한 미학적 조형 언어를 제시 하였다.
중국 전통 자연관의 심미적 특징과 문화적 내용을 현대적 개념으로 재조명하고 응용하여 중국 전통 자연관과 예술의 관계성을 환경 도예로 표현하는 인체미의 조형을 연구 하였다. 본 연구는 중국 ‘천·지·인’ 자연관과 한국의 자연관의 연구를 기반으로 자연과 유기적 관계성을 가진 인체의 표현에 대한 조형성을 연구하여 현대 환경 도예의 새로운 조형 개념을 제시하고자 했다.
