운영환경을 고려한 도시철도 정시성에 관한 연구 = A Study on Urban Railway Punctuality Considering Operational Factors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

도시철도는 서울도시철도 9호선 연장, 신분당선 개통 등 수도권 철도망이 지속적으로 확충되어 경로선택의 다양화와 급행/완행의 열차선택 등과 같은 서비스 다양화가 가속화되고 있다. 이 중 일부 시간대의 특정 노선구간은 열차혼잡이 250% 이상으로 보고되고 있으며, 열차혼잡은 플랫폼에서 승객의 하차와 승차 시간이 증가하게 되어 열차운영의 정시성에 영향을 미치고 있다. 결과적으로 승강장과 열차의 혼잡은 열차운행 빈도에 영향을 주면서 열차혼잡을 더욱 가중시키고 있다. 현재 도시철도의 정시성 평가는 운영환경을 고려하지 않은 획일적인 방법으로 평가되고 있다. 이러한 평가방법은 운영환경이 다른 노선끼리 정시성을 비교하는데 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 노선별 영업거리, 승객수(승차기준)를 고려해 계획된 열차운행에 대해 조사하여 정시성을 평가하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

Expansion of urban railway network, such as the Seoul Subway Line 9 and Shinbundang Line, has affected the railway operation. The new operational factor has changed the railway route choice, transfer pattern, and the train line choice. However, the platforms are crowded and the trains packed. For instance, it is reported that certain railway links are packed to 250% of their capacity during certain hours. The congestion has an influence on the punctuality of train operations; as a result, degradation of capacity is the cause of the increasing overcrowding. Current standardized examination of urban railway punctuality is conducted without considering various operational factors, where it is problematic to evaluate punctuality as the most accurate approach. This study describes a method to examine punctuality while reviewing some operational factors such as distance of train operation and number of passengers. The punctuality of Seoul urban railway for particular operational links is analyzed considering the past delay records and expected operational timetable.
