한국 노인의 회복탄력성 예측요인 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

노인의 회복탄력성은 노년기의 은퇴와 신체·정신·사회적 변화에 대처하는 중요한 개인적 자원 중의 하나이며, 노년기 삶의 질을 향상시키고 성공적 노화에 이르게 하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 회복탄력성과 관련된 변인들을 검증하기 위해 인구사회학적 요인, 신체적 건강 요인, 정신적 건강 요인, 사회적 건강 요인이 노인의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 경희대학교 2017 한국노인의 노쇠이해능력 실태조사 402명의 자료를 분석하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 인구사회학적 요인에서는 연령은 낮을수록, 경제수준은 높을수록 회복탄력성이 높게 나타났으며 신체적 건강 요인에서는 주관적 건강이 좋을수록 외래서비스 이용은 적을수록, 그리고 정신적 건강 요인에서는 우울이 낮을수록, 삶의 만족도가 높을수록 회복탄력성이 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 사회적 건강 요인에서는 사회적 소외감을 적게 느낄수록 회복탄력성이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 노인의 회복탄력성 증진을 위한 생애주기별 프로그램에 대한 필요성을 비롯한 정책적 시사점과 실천적 개입에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The resilience in the elderly is one of the essential personal resources to cope with retirement and physical, mental and social changes in old age, and plays an important role in improving the quality of life in old age and leading to successful aging. Therefore, this study confirmed the effects of demographic factors, physical health factors, mental health factors, and social health factors on the resilience in the elderly in order to verify the variables related to resilience in the elderly over 65 years of age. This study analyzed the data of 402 people among the data of Frailty Literacy Survey on Korean elderly people led by Kyunghee University in 2017. As a result of Multiple Regression analysis, in terms of demographic factors, the lower the age of the elderly is and the higher the economic level of the elderly is, the higher the resilience in the elderly is demonstrated. Additionally, as for the physical health factors, the higher the self-reported health condition is and the less the use of outpatient services is, the higher the resilience in the elderly is presented. Moreover, as for the mental health factors, the lower older people suffer from depression and the higher they report the level of life satisfaction, the higher the resilience in the elderly is noted. Finally, in terms of social health factor, the less the elderly feels social alienation, the higher the resilience in them is showed. Based on these results, this study suggests political implications and practical ways of intervention regarding the necessity for life cycle programs to improve the resilience in the elderly.
