Was that magnificent, divine pavillion, the emblem of heaven itself, Heb. 9: 24, which Moses built for God, by his express command, partly to be the place of his visible residence as king of Israel, Ex. 40: 34, 35, and partly to be the centre and medium of that solemn worship which the people were to render to him, v. 26--29.
