We believe it is a true saying now, as much as it was in the days of Paul, that he earnestly desires the office of a religious and moral instructor, desires an honorable and a useful employment. The motive, however, is less likely to be pure and disinterested now, that it must have been then. The service of Christ, in the age of Paul, brought to those engaged in it, little of either honor or and we can scarcely conceive of any motive which a man could entertain, who wished to dedicate himself to that service save the sincere and disintersted love or promoting the and happiness of his race.
THINK AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES.
