공군 부사관의 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족의 관계에서 공동체 의식의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Community Consciousness on the Relationship between Psychological Ownership and Job Satisfaction of

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 공군 부사관의 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족의 관계를 살펴보고, 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족 관계에서 공동체 의식이 매개하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 강원도에 소재한 공군 부대에서 280명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 266명의 수집된 자료를 SPSS/WIN 19.0 프로그램을 사용하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 또한 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 sobel test를 실시하였다.
본 연구에 사용된 측정도구는 공군 부사관의 심리적 주인의식의 정도를 알아보기 위해 Van Dyne Pierce(2004)와 Avey 등(2009)이 사용한 척도를 장진우(2016)가 변형한 척도를 사용하였다. 공동체 의식 척도는 McMilan과 Chavis(1986)의 공동체 의식 연구를 토대로 Chavis 등(1986)이 개발한 공동체 의식 척도(Sense of Community Index: SCI)를 조은영과 김완일(2016)이 번안한 척도를 사용하였으며, 직무만족 척도는 Smith, Kendall 및 Hulin(1969)의 직무기술지표(Job Description Index: JDI)와 Weiss, Dawis, England 및 Lofquist(1967)의 미네소타 만족 설문(Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire: MSQ)을 활용하여 최현묵(2011)이 설문 대상자의 특성에 맞게 재구성한 척도를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 주요 변인들 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 심리적 주인의식과 공동체 의식은 직무만족과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족도 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족의 관계에서 공동체 의식이 매개하는지 알아보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 검증과 sobel 검증을 실시한 결과, 심리적 주인의식과 직무만족의 관계에서 공동체 의식이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 심리적 주인의식이 공군 부사관의 직무만족에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라, 공동체 의식을 매개하여 공군 부사관의 직무만족에 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다.
이러한 결과는 공군 부사관의 직무만족을 높이기 위해 심리적 주인의식과 공동체 의식을 함께 높일 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과에 대한 논의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed at examining the relationship between Air Force noncommissioned officials’ psychological consciousness and military life satisfaction and finding out whether use their community spirits mediates in relationship between their psychological consciousness and military life satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted involving 280 military officers in Gangwon-do and the combined data of 266 were used to perform a correlation analysis and a rare analysis using the SPSS/WIN 19.0 program.
The measuring instruments used to determine the degree of psychological consciousness of Air Force noncommissioned officials in this study was used the scale deformed by Jang Jin-woo which was used by Van Dyne Pierce(2004), Avey et al(2009). The measurement of community spirits was used the scale, which developed such as Chavis(1986) on the basis of McMilan and Chavis’ community spirits research, adapted from Cho Eun-young and Kim Wan-ill and the measurement of military life satisfaction was used the scale, which utilized from Job Description Index of Smith, Kendall and Hulin(1969) and Minnessota Satisfaction Questionnaire of Weiss, Dawis, England and Lofquist(1967), reorganized by Choi Hyun-mook according to the characteristics of the survey participants.
The results of the study are summarized as follows.
First, an analysis of the correlation of key variables, military life satisfaction was positively related with psychological consciousness and community spirits and was also positively related with psychological consciousness and military life satisfaction.
Second, an results of mediated effects verification of Baron and Kenny(1986) and Sobel verification to find out community spirits mediated in the relationship between psychological consciousness and military life satisfaction, community spirits turned out mediating in the relationship between psychological consciousness and military life satisfaction. This indicates that their psychological consciousness not only directly affects their military life satisfaction but also indirectly affects Air Force noncommissioned officials’ military life satisfaction by the community spirits.
This study suggests that in order to improve Air Force noncommissioned officials’ military life satisfaction, it is necessary to consider both psychological consciousness and community spirits. Lastly, discussion and suggests have been presented regarding the results of this study.
