어머니의 아동기 부정적 경험이 현재 양육에 미치는 영향: 현상학적 연구 = Impact of Mothers' Adverse Childhood Experiences on Current Parenting: A Phenomenological Study

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아동기 부정적 경험(Adverse Childhood Experiences, ACEs)을 가진 어머니들의 양육 경험을 탐구하기 위해 현상학적 질적 연구 설계를 활용하였다. 2024년 12월 12일부터 16일까지 D시의 온라인 육아 커뮤니티에서 모집된 10명의 참여자를 대상으로 면대면으로 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 아동기 부정적 경험이 어머니들의 양육 과정에서 부정적 영향을 미치지만, 이를 극복하려는 노력과 의지가 중요한 역할을 한다는 점을 확인하였다. 참여자들은 내적 갈등과 어려움에도 불구하고 부정적 양육 패턴을 끊고 부모-자녀 관계를 강화하고자 적극적으로 노력하였다. 본 연구는 ACE의 세대 간 전이를 방지하고 건강한 부모-자녀 관계를 위한 맞춤형 중재 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료를 제공하였다. 부모 교육 및 의사소통 훈련과 정서 지원 프로그램을 통해 아동기 부정적 경험의 부정적 영향을 완화할 수 있을 것이다.

This study utilized a phenomenological qualitative design to investigate the parenting experiences of mothers who had adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Data were collected through in-depth, face-to-face interviews with 10 participants recruited from an online parenting communities and childcare-related institutions in City D between December 12 and December 16, 2024. The study found that adverse childhood experiences negatively impact mothers' parenting processes but highlighted that efforts and determination to overcome these challenges play a crucial role. This study provided foundational data for the development of tailored intervention programs aimed at preventing the intergenerational transmission of ACEs and fostering healthy parent-child relationships. Parent education, communication training, and emotional support programs can help mitigate the negative effects of adverse childhood experiences.
