『연경재전집』의 변辨·발跋·필기류筆記類를 통해 본 한국고대사의 신자료 발굴 = A Study on Excavation of new materials on Korean ancient history through the Byeon(辨)·Bal(跋)·Writing classification(筆記類) of 『The Complex Works of Yeongyeongjae (硏經齋全集)』

In this article, new data related to Korean ancient history were organized and analyzed, focusing on the The Complex Works of Yeongyeongjae (硏經齋全集) of works by Seong, Hae-eung (1760-1839), a Silhak scholar in the late Joseon Dynasty. As a result, the following points could be revealed.
First, by examining the form in which the contents, which can be said to be new materials of Korean ancient history, were recorded in the The Complex Works of Yeongyeongjae(硏經齋全集), the basis for understanding the contents as a whole was laid.
Next, in order to analyze these new materials, I looked at their composition and contents in detail, and also analyzed and searched for meaning in particularly noteworthy items among them. In particular, contents such as ‘Korea monument (⾼麗碑)’, ‘Jinheung monument of commemoration (眞興北巡碑)’, and ‘Kija descendant (箕⼦後裔)’ have not received much attention, and they can be newly illuminated through Seong, Hae-eung.
Next, several points could be derived from Seong, Hae-eung’s recognition of Korean ancient history materials. First, he paid attention to the origin of the nation or the origin of ancient countries, second, he mentioned changes in territory related to national territorial issues, and third, The fact that he paid attention to ancient historical figures, the fourth, deep interest in Chinese historical books, and the fifth, the focus on epigraphs as a material of ancient history.
As a result of this study, new materials related to ancient Korean history were contained in various ways in the The Complex Works of Yeongyeongjae (硏經齋全集). Through this, it helped to understand Seong, Hae-eung’s perception of Korean ancient history, a Silhak scholar in the late Joseon Dynasty.
