      본 연구는 다양하게 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고 대인관계 기술요인이 청소년의 인터넷 중독 성향에 미치는 영향력을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 왜냐하면 청소년들은 미래의 전자상거래의 잠재 고객이므로 인터넷 사용에 대한 올바른 습관을 청소년기에 확립하여 주어야 하기 때문이다. 이를 위해 중고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시한 결과를 제시하였다.

      In the knowledge information society, digital literacy is highly regarded. The ability to process and utilize information is necessary exceeding the level of simply collecting information. Such a situation of the times has increased Internet utilization by youths in ordinary life. The quickly growing Internet environment has already been part of our lives so much so that almost everything in life itself is associated with the Internet. In particular, the recent promotion of e-commerce has popularized commercial transactions through Internet shopping malls. Accordingly, the justification for establishing the right habits of Internet use for youths, potential customers of e-commerce, is being raised.
      This study conducted research in order to reduce Internet addiction and to establish right habits of Internet use for youths by seeking environmental characteristic variables that are attributable to the Internet addiction of youths. As environmental characteristic variables for explaining the Internet addiction of youths, the study selected the family variable, the school variable, the Internet variable, and the self variable, and also chose an interpersonal relationship skill variable as a parameter.
      The study conducted a covariance structure modeling analysis by establishing a research model. The study performed an empirical analysis by setting up 7 research hypotheses and 8 sub-hypotheses. As a result, concerning significantly influential environmental characteristic variables to Internet addiction, the school variable and the interpersonal relationship skill variable were discovered to serve as suppressing variables
      that reduced Internet addiction, and the Internet variable was found to serve as an inducing variable in increasing Internet addiction.
      As a result of verifying the mediation effect of an interpersonal relationship skill variable in the relationship among the following: the family variable, the school variable, the Internet variable, and the self variable; the variables of Internet addiction, the family variable, the school variable, the Internet variable, and the self variable were interpreted to serve as a mediation variable by indirectly affecting Internet addiction in the medium of an interpersonal relationship skill variable.
      As a result, various activities are required in order to prevent Internet addiction and to prevent Internet addiction of those addicted to the Internet. Specifically, it is required to have strategies that diminish the influence of Internet variables that provoke Internet addiction and to promote variables, which reduce Internet addiction, such as the school variable and the interpersonal relationship skill variable. As a way of preventing Internet addiction, based on educational field experience, it is necessary to practice information
      communication ethics education, various club activities, netiquette education, and Internet addiction prevention programs, and to establish the right Internet utilization for youths.
