여대생의 메이크업 행동이 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감 중심으로 = The Effects of Female University Students’ Makeup Behavior on Career Decision Making: Focusing on Self-Efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 메이크업 행동이 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향을 자기효능감을 매개로 조사하였으며, 메이크업행동이 개인의 진로의사결정과 자기효능감에 미치는 중요성을 확인하여 향후 연구 및 교육에서 이러한 측면을 고려하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는 것에 연구의 목적이 있다. 국내 거주 여대생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 설문지는 총 240부 중 불성실한 응답 11부를 제외하여 229부를 최종 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 조사기간은 2023년 10월16일부터 2023년 10월29일까지 약 2주에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료들은 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석, PROCEDSS macro를 활용한 매개분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째 여대생의 메이크업 행동이 진로의사결정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 여대생의 메이크업 행동이 자기효능감에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 마지막으로 여대생의 메이크업 행동과 진로의사결정은 자기효능감이 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 여대생의 메이크업 행동이 진로의사결정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 자기효능감은 진로에 대한 자신감을 키우는 중요한 역할을 하기 때문에 높은 수준의 자기효능감은 긍적적인 삶의 품질과 성공적인 삶을 촉진할 수 있다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 여대생들의 메이크업 행동이 자기효능감과 진로의사결정에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 여대생들의 삶과 진로 결정에 새로운 관점을 제공하고, 향후 연구 및 교육에 필요한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of female college students’ makeup behavior on their career decision-making, with a focus on self-efficacy as a mediating factor. This research aimed to confirm the importance of makeup behavior on individuals’ career decision-making and self-efficacy, providing foundational data necessary for considering these aspects in future research and education. The survey was conducted among female college students living in Korea, utilizing 229 out of 240 collected responses, after excluding 11 insincere responses. The survey period spanned approximately two weeks, from October 16 to October 29, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediation analysis using the PROCESS macro. The results of the study revealed that first, the makeup behavior of female college students positively influenced their career decision-making. Second, their makeup behavior also had a positive impact on their self-efficacy. Finally, it was confirmed that the relationship between female college students’ makeup behavior and career decision-making was mediated by self-efficacy. These results indicate that makeup behavior positively influences career decision-making among female college students, and that high self-efficacy plays a crucial role in boosting confidence in career choices, thus promoting a higher quality of life and successful living. These findings underscore the significant role that makeup behavior plays in enhancing self-efficacy among female college students, serving as valuable foundational data for future research and educational considerations regarding their behavior and self-efficacy.
