중고령자의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 : 전기, 중기, 후기 중고령자 연령대 구분을 중심으로 = Factors Analysis on the Life Satisfaction of Middle-old Aged : Focused on Three Groups by the First Period, the Middle Period and the Last Period by Age

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중고령자를 전기, 중기, 후기로 구분하여 세 집단의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 차이가 있는지 비교분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 고령화연구패널 3차 자료를 활용하여 각 집단의 인구사회학적 특성, 사회적지지 특성, 경제노동 특성을 비교 분석하였고, 이러한 특성이 각 집단의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다.
분석결과, 전기 중고령자의 경우 인구사회학적 요인 중 학력, 건강, 종교, 배우자, 친한 사람과의 만남 빈도, 가구총소득, 개인순자산, 노동여부가 영향을 미친 반면, 중기 중고령자는 전기 중고령자의 영향요인 중 학력과 종교, 노동여부는 영향을 미치지 못했다. 후기 중고령자의 경우 특징적으로 가구총소득, 개인순자산 만이 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 중고령자가 보다 활동적이고, 성공적인 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 연령 집단에 맞는 삶의 만족도 향상에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study is investigate differences in factors affecting old people`s life satisfaction in the three groups divided by the first period, the middle period and the last period. For this study, each group`s characteristics of social population, social support and economic work were compared and analyzed based on the data from wave 3 of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing. Also, whether these characteristics affect the life satisfaction of each group or not was analyzed.
According to the results, the young-old were affected by education, health, religion, spouses, frequency of meeting close friends, household income, personal net asset and labor among factors of social population on their life satisfaction. On the other hand, the middle-old were not affected by education, religion and labor affecting the young-old. In the case of the old-old were affected only by household income, personal net asset. Based on these findings, this study provides suggestions for improving life satisfaction of middle-aged and older people so that they can lead active and successful life.
