국어 교과서 제재 흥미에 영향을 주는요소 탐색과 제재 개발에 주는 함의 = Exploring Factors Contributing Text Interest and Implications for Text Development

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors contributing text interest and to explore some implications for Korean text development, basing on situational interest, specifically text-based interest. According to research related to text interest, various characteristics of text have an impact on reader's perceived interest of text. Reader's interest is related to text comprehension most strongly when his background knowledge is moderately related to text content.
Extremely low levels of interest lead to him boredom and extremely high levels made it difficult to understand text. Additionally, factors such as character identification, life theme, and novelty, activity level, and postdictability effect reader's interest of text. Also, text coherence and text structure have an impact on it. Based on these factors, some implications for making Korean textbook more interesting were suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 상황적 흥미, 특히 텍스트 기반 흥미를 토대로 텍스트를 보다흥미롭게 만드는 요소를 검토하여 흥미로운 국어 교과서 제재 개발을 위한 함의를탐색하는 데 있다. 상황적 흥미와 관련된 연구에 따르면, 텍스트의 다양한 특성들이 독자가 지각하는 텍스트 흥미에 영향을 준다. 우선, 텍스트의 어려움 정도가흥미에 영향을 주는 데 흥미는 독자의 배경지식과 텍스트의 내용이 중간 정도로관련될 때 발생한다. 등장인물과의 동일시, 생활 주제, 새로움, 활동 수준뿐만 아니라 사후 해결 가능성과 같은 텍스트의 내용적 특성도 학생들의 텍스트 흥미를촉발시킨다. 아울러, 텍스트 응집성과 텍스트 구조는 텍스트에 대한 학생들의 흥미를 증가시킨다. 이러한 요소들을 바탕으로, 학생들의 흥미를 불러일으킬 수 있는 국어 교과서의 제재를 만드는 데 필요한 시사점을 논의하였다.
