메시아 관점에서 예수를 바라본 유대민족 지도자들의 확증편향에 관한 고찰 = Consideration of Confirmation Bias of Jewish People Leaders in Jesus in the Viewpoint of Messiah

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 예수를 메시아로 인정할 수 없었던 유대민족 지도자들의 확증편향에 관한 고찰을 다루고 있다. 당시 시대적 관점에서는 확증편향이라는 이론이 정립되어 있지 않았기 때문에 현재의 확증편향 이론을 기준으로 당시 상황을 고찰하는 방식으로 본 연구는 진행되었다. 본 연구 주제에 관한 확증편향의 접목 방향성은 정보탐색 측면과 정보해석 측면으로 설정되었다. 정보탐색 측면에서는 유대민족 지도자들이 오랜 시간 동안 구약의 예언서를 통하여 메시아를 연구해 왔지만, 예수가 출현했을 때 왜 메시아로 인정할 수 없었는지를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 정보해석 측면에서는 예수가 공생애 기간에 보여준 다양한 활동들을 지켜보면서 예수가 메시아라는 정보해석에 성공한 사람들도 나타났지만, 왜 대부분의 유대민족 지도자들은 예수가 메시아라는 정보해석에 실패했는지를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 확증편향은 당시 시대적 상황의 사회적 증거들에 의해 많은 영향을 받을 수 있다는 시사점을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study handles the confirmation bias of Jewish people leaders who could not accept Jesus as the Messiah. As the theory of confirmation bias was not established in the viewpoint of the times, the study was conducted by the method to consider the situation of the times based on current theory of confirmation bias. Drafting direction of confirmation bias in the subject of the study was set in the aspect of information search and information interpretation. In the aspect of information search, considerations were focused in why Jewish people leaders could not accept Jesus as Messiah when he appeared although they had studied about Messiah through prophets of the Old Testament for a long time. In the aspect of information interpretation, considerations were focused in why most of Jewish people leaders failed in information interpretation that Jesus was Messiah although some people succeeded in information interpretation that Jesus was Messiah looking at his various activities during his public life. The study showed indicated that confirmation bias may be significantly influenced by social evidences of then-current temporal situations.
