정보화 교육이 노인들의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

고령화가 진행되는 현대사회는 노인문제에 대한 중요성이 점차 커지면서 노인 복지 차원에서 여가 및 생활만족으로 연계할 수 있는 여러 가지 프로그램에 대한 관심이 늘어나는 추세이다. 그 중에서도 정보화 교육은 노인들의 삶의 만족도를 높여 줄수 있는 중요한 도구이다.
본 연구는 노인들을 대상으로 하는 정보화 교육 프로그램이 이들 노인들의 생활만족도 및 여가생활 만족도에 의미 있는 효과가 있는가를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다.
연구의 대상은 ○○광역시에 거주하는 노인들 중에서 정보화교육프로그램을 수강하고 있는 노인들 77명을 대상으로 하여 생활만족도, 여가활동만족도, 프로그램내용에 대한 만족도 등 세 가지 만족도 수준을 조사하였으며, 이 세 가지 만족도 수준이 노인들의 성별, 학력, 경제력, 건강상태, 참여동기, 참여기간, 정보활용능력 등 7 가지 특성에 따라 어떤 서로 다른 차이가 있는가를 조사 분석하였다.
분석결과는 다음과 같았다.
첫째, 여가활동에 대한 만족도는 학습자 특성 중 참여기간에 따라서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다.
둘째, 생활만족도에 대한 분석결과는 학습자들의 여러 가지 특성(성별, 학력, 경제력, 건강, 참여기간)에 따라서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 검증되었다.
셋째, 정보화교육프로그램의 내용에 대한 만족도는 학습자의 여러 가지 특성 중 학력과 참여기간 및 활용능력에서만 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 검증되었다.
이와 같은 연구결과는 자칫 삶의 활력을 잃고 무력함에 빠질 수 있는 이러한 노인층 세대들을 대상으로 한 정보화교육프로그램은 노인 세대들에게 정보화사회에 적응함은 물론 삶의 활력을 회복할 수 있는 계기를 마련해 주는 데 유용한 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the importance of the older ages' problems becomes more great than before, the interest on the programs which can be connected by leisure and life satisfaction under the welfare level for the aged has been increased nowadays. Among them, information technology education could be considered as important measure which can improve life-satisfaction of the aged.
The purpose of this study is to examine if information technology education program for the aged could be effective for their satisfaction level of life and leisure life significantly.
The object of this study was 77 senior citizens attending the information technology education program lived in O○○ metropolitan city. And three standards for life-satisfaction, leisure activity-satisfaction and program content-satisfaction were inspected and the differences of those three standards of satisfaction by 7 personal characteristics such as their gender, academic background, economic power, health situation, participating motivation, participating period, information-applying ability, were analyzed.
The results are as follows;
The first, leisure activity-satisfaction level showed a significant difference statistically by only participating periods among the characteristics of learners. In other words, learners who had the experience participating more than 2 years showed higher satisfaction level than learners who had participating period less than 1 year significantly.
The second, life-satisfaction level showed a significant difference according to several characteristics of learners(gender, academic background, economic power, health, participating period).
The third, program content-satisfaction showed a significant difference by only academic background, participating period and application ability among several characteristics of learners.
Those results of this study verified that information technology education program has useful effects not only making the aged adapt to information-oriented society but also preparing an opportunity overcoming living vitality.
Therefore, based on those results which can solve problems of the aged and heighten life-satisfaction under the level of senior citizen's welfare recently, by emphasizing and promoting them to apply information, applying knowledge and technology maximumly and giving them the role as an active participant of society, it's necessary to expand infrastructure which provides an opportunity of acquiring information and knowledge for the aged nationally and applying information positively as well as to seek much interests and considerations of other people and methods of social support so that the education can fulfill sufficiently the role of medium which achieves life-satisfaction and ability-strengthening from their physical and financial environments.
