우울 호소 대학생의 정서인식명확성과 비자살적 자해의 관계에서 정서조절양식의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 우울 호소 대학생의 정서인식명확성과 비자살적 자해의 관계를 알아보고, 그 관계에서 능동적, 지지추구적, 회피분산적 각각의 정서조절양식의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 261명을 대상으로 우울증 선별도구, 자해 기능 평가지, 특질 상위-기분 척도(정서인식명확성), 정서조절양식 체크리스트를 실시하였으며, 우울증 선별도구 절단점(5점)을 기준으로 자해 취약 집단인 우울 호소 대학생을 130명을 선별하여 자료를 분석하였다. 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 정서인식명확성과 비자살적 자해는 유의한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 능동적 정서조절양식은 정서인식명확성과는 정적 상관, 비자살적 자해와는 부적 상관이 나타났다. 지지추구적 정서조절양식은 정서인식명확성과는 유의한 상관이 나타나지 않았으며, 비자살적 자해와는 부적 상관이 나타났다. 회피분산적 정서조절양식은 정서인식명확성과는 부적 상관, 비자살적 자해와는 정적 상관이 나타났다. 매개효과를 검증한 결과 능동적 정서조절양식과 회피분산적 정서조절양식은 각각 정서인식명확성과 비자살적 자해의 관계에서 모두 유의한 간접효과를 보여 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 지지추구적 정서조절양식은 간접효과가 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 비자살적 자해의 완화를 위해서는 정서를 인식하는 능력을 향상시키고 회피분산적 정서조절양식을 덜 사용하며, 능동적 정서조절양식을 사용하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다. 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의에서 다루었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of emotional regulation style between emotional clarity and nonsuicidal self-injury(NSSI) in depressed college students. A total of 261 college students participated in the study. 130 of them complained of depression according to the cut-off (5points) of the depression screening questionnaire(PHQ). The data was collected by online surveys. Based on a correlation analysis, there is a significant negative correlation between emotional clarity and NSSI in depressed college students. In depressed college students and had an active regulation style, their regulation style had a significant positive correlation with emotional clarity and a significant negative correlation with NSSI. For those depressed college students and had an avoidant distractive regulation style, their regulation style had a significant negative correlation with emotional clarity and a significant positive correlation with NSSI. Through a structural equation model analysis, the mediating effect of each of the active regulation style and the avoidant distractive regulation style was confirmed between emotional clarity and NSSI. However, the indirect effects of the support-seeking regulation style was not statistically significant in relation to emotional clarity and NSSI of the depressed college students. This study is meaningful in explaining the process the emotional clarity of vulnerable young adults in depressed college students affects the severity of NSSI through an active regulation style and an avoidant distractive regulation style.
