부모간 폭력 목격경험이 학교폭력 가해에 미치는 영향과 지지적 사회관계망의 조절효과 = The Contribution of Adolescent's Exposure to Marital Violence on School Violence : Moderating Effect of Supportive Social Networks

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This review examines the contribution of youth's exposure to marital violence to their aggressive behavior at school and tries to define the moderating effect of supportive social networks built by the youth. For this study, a survey was conducted with 1,140 middle and high school students not only in Seoul but metropolitan area as well. Through this survey, it was revealed that the number of youth who had been exposed to marital violence for the last one year reached to 43.8% out of total participants. Also different forms of school violence were measured ; lingual violence(48.2%), physical violence(15.4%) and bullying(15.1%). In the relation between exposure to marital violence and school violence, the group who had been exposed to marital violence had higher risk to perpetrate aggressive behavior toward peers rather than the control group. The moderating effect of supportive social networks was examined that peer and teacher networks worked in boy's cases, however in girl's cases, only teacher network had effectiveness. Findings indicate that further emphasis should be place on the implication of intervention preventing youth from school violence with supportive social networks enhancement.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 부모간 폭력 목격 경험이 학교폭력 가해행위에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 그 둘의 관계에서 지지적 사회관계망이 조절효과를 가지는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 수도권지역에서 재학 중인 중학교 3학년에서 고등학교 2학년 남녀학생 1140명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과 지난 1년간 부모간 언어적 또는 신체적 폭력을 목격한 청소년은 전체 조사대상자의 43.8%로 나타났다. 학교폭력 가해행위는 언어적폭력이 48.2%, 신체적 폭력이 15.4%, 따돌림이 15.1%의 순으로 나타났다. 부모간 폭력과 학교폭력과의 관계에서는 부모간 폭력을 목격한 청소년일수록 학교폭력 가해행위를 할 위험이 높았다. 지지적 사회관계망의 조절효과는 친구관계망과 교사관계망을 검증한 결과, 남학생은 친구의 지지와 교사의 지지가 조절효과를 보였고, 여학생은 교사의 지지만이 조절효과를 보였다. 이상과 같은 결과를 바탕으로 부모간 폭력을 목격한 청소년의 폭력행동에 대한 개입 방안을 제언하였다.
