소파방정환(小波方定煥)번역동화의 창작동화로의 이행 연구 = Bang Jung Hwan`s Literature from Translated Children`s Stories to Creative Children`s Stories

국문 초록 (Abstract)

방정환의 번역동화를 살펴보면, ``전통적 지향``과 ``근대적 지향``이 접합된 형태로 나타나는 것이 큰 특징이다. 그는 다양한 외국동화를 통해 고래동화에 결여되어 있던 근대적 아동상을 부각시키고, ``아동``의 성립이 전제되는 아동문학에서 ``아동 주체의 확보``가 어떻게 드러나는지 모형을 제시하였다. 이는 고래동화와 격을 긋는 뚜렷한 변별 지점이 되었다. 또, 그가 번역동화에서 구사하는 문장은 구술적엮음 방식에 의한 반복과 열거가 주된 특징을 보여 준다. 이 같은 구술적 특성은 그의 ``이약이`` 의식과 깊은 관련이 되어 있는데, 첫 번역동화에서부터 선취한 ``-습니다``체는 이후 동화 장르의 보편적 서술체가 된다. 번역동화의 이야기 변형을 통해 창작동화로 이행해 간 대표적 작품은 시골쥐의 서울 구경 이라는 작품이다. 이런 관점에서 본고는 그의 번역동화는 ``순창작``이 아니라는, 창작 우위의 관점에서 빚어지는 오류를 수정하고 근대 ``동화`` 장르의 형성과 장르 인식의 측면에서 새롭게 그 지위를 부여했다.

You can find above all things that his translated children`s stories are presented in the form of join of ``the traditional aim`` and ``the modern aim``, when you look them closely. By various foreign children`s stories, he underlined the modern child model that the traditional children`s stories lacked. Most of all, the sentences which he made use of in his translation are characterized by repetition and enumeration which are weaved by oral methods. This oral characteristic is deeply related to his ``I-Yak-I`` conscience. The ``-sup-ni-da`` type was first gained by his fist translated children`s stories. After that, it became the general declarative type of the genre of the children`s stories.
