『삼국유사』소재 설화의 서사적 계승 연구 = The Topic of Narrative Succession for 『Samkungnyusa』 - with Special Reference to the Story of King Kyeungmun

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The story of 'The king has donkey ears' is included in the section of Ki-Yi(記異) in 『Samkungnyusa』. The story of king Kyeungmun symbolizes the political and social aspects of Silla dynasty through Kyeungmun who became the King from Wharang (excelled in beauty, bravery and military arts in Silla dynasty). This story is also adopted as motif in the various modern literatures and still found both classic and modern novels. In this paper, I shall focus on 'The king has a donkey ears' that is originally from the story of king Kyeungmun and consider how this motif is adopted in the modern literature. As a result, I shall propose the following rewriting processes. First, preserving original time and space. Then, only taking a motif. Finally, moving to the other genres from novel. In this way, the story of king Kyeungmun has adopted in the modern literature since this motif reflects the question of the human race and fidelity. Therefore, narrative story is still on the matter of concern in our time through these rewriting processes.
