중년 후기 남녀 유배우자의 부부관계에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 = A Study on Factors influencing Marital Relationship in Late Middle-Aged Married Couple Associated with Sex: Focused on Sex Life

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 한국사회에서는 중년층의 인구가 증가하고 있고 인구 노령화로 인해 중년기가 장기화되고 있다. 이는 부부가 함께 할 시기가 이전보다 늘어났음을 의미하는 것으로 중년기뿐만 아니라 성공적인 노후생활의 방안으로 중년기 부부관계는 매우 중요한 주제가 되고 있다. 이에 다양한 주제들이 연구되고 있지만 중년기의 특성을 고려한 성생활과 부부관계에 관한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 강원 영동지역의 S시에 거주하고 있는 55세에서 64세의 중년 후기 유배우자 126명을 대상으로 남녀의 부부관계에 영향을 미치는 주요요인을 성생활을 중심으로 밝히고자 했다. 연구결과에 따르면, 성생활 인식은 4문항을 제외하고 모두 문항에서 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 성생활 실태에서는 여성이 남성에 비해 소극적인 성생활을 하고 있었으며, 부부관계는 여성이 남성에 비해 만족률이 낮았다. 그리고 중년 후기 유배우자의 부부관계에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알고자 단계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 여성 유배우자들은 배우자와 성생활 대화, 성생활 만족에서 그리고 남성 유배우자들은 성생활 태도, 성생활 만족에서 의미를 부여하고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 중년후기의 긍정적인 부부관계를 위한 정확한 지식과 실제적인 정보제공의 필요성, 부부를 대상으로 한 성상담 프로그램과 전문인력 양성의 필요성 등을 제시하였다.

Recently, a middle-aged population has been increased in Korean society and the aging of the Korean society has brought about the long-term middle age. It means that couples should live together more than ever before and suggests the importance of martial relationship during their middle age for successful old age. Although researches on a variety of subjects have been conducted, there are few researches martial relationship focused on sex life of the middle age.
Accordingly, this study intends to explore the sex life and marital relationship associated with sex and find out major facts influencing a martial relationship. The subjects were 126 middle-aged married people residing in S city at the Yeogndong area in Gangwon-do. As results of this study, for sex life perception, there was significant difference in every item but four, for the situation of sex life, women was more passive in sex life than men, and for marital relationship, women showed lower satisfaction than men. Then, the stepwise regression analysis was conducted to examine the factors influencing marital satisfaction in late middle-aged married couples. Married women gave significance to sex life conversation with their husbands, sex life satisfaction, whereas married men gave significance to sex life attitude, sex life satisfaction.
Based on these results, this study suggests that accurate knowledge and actual information for the positive marital relationship of the late middle age should be provided, and sex counseling programs and professional human resources should be developed.
