스포츠사회학 : 한국 프로야구 선수의 인지된 역할특성과 운동기능에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Perceived Role Attributes and Skills of the Korean Professional Baseball Players

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 Grusky(1963)의 "경기위치의 중심성은 핵심적 역할특성의 획득에 영향을 미치고, 핵심적 역할기능의 획득은 지도자 충원의 가능성에 영향을 미친다."는 명제에 바탕을 두고, 첫째, 한국 프로 야구 조직에서 경기위치에 대한 역할특성과 운동기능의 상대적 중요를 평가하고, 둘째, 한국 프로야구 조직에 있어 사회적 차별에 대한 역할특성과 운동기능의 상대적인 영향력을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다.본 연구에서는 현재 한국프로야구위원회(KBO)에 소속한 선수 중에서 서울과 인천을 연고지로 하고 있는 팀에서 활동하고 있는 1군 경기에 참가하고 있는 선수(n=100)를 전집 하였다. 이중 실제 분석 인원은 77명이었다.본 연구에서 사용한 설문지는 김우성(1988)의 연구에서 사용한 설문 문항을 기초로 하여 설문지를 작성하였다. 질문지의 작성은 피험자에게 각 경기위치에 대해 훈련, 의존도 독특성, 급료 위광 등의 역할특성과 운동기능을 자신이 판단한 상대적 중요도에 따라 1에서 9까지 9단계로 평가하도록 하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 본 연구에서 사용한 통계분석 기법은 상관관계분석과 중다회귀분석이다.본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 야구경기에 있어 경기위치는 선정된 역할특성과 운동기능에 따라 상위서열그룹(투수, 포수, 유격수), 중위 서열그룹(일루수, 이루수, 삼루수), 그리고 하위서열그룹(외야수)으로 삼분할 수 있다.둘째, 인지된 역할특성과 운동기능 중에서 인지된 보수와 위광에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 운동기능이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study, through an examination of patterns of social differentiation among playing position within Korean professional baseball organizations, was to assess the relative weighting of selected role attributes and skills and to examine the relative effects of selected role attributes and skills.In order to test the aforementioned purposes, 77 data were gathered and analysed. And the statistical methods were Pearsons correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis.Under the basis of these methods, the follow findings are summarized:First, the playing position of baseball can be divided into three parts: high ranking group(pitcher, catcher, short-stop), middle ranking group(first base, second base, third base), and low ranking group(outfielders).Second, the athletic skills is the most influencing variable on the perceived salary and prestige.
