Mere-Folle is a ``joyful society`` that had acted from the middle ages until 17th century. They organized a festival and supervised the custom and a morality of the city. Their symbols and discourse which main theme was Folly were very satirize. The traditions of their satire were originated from Society of Fool in La Sainte Chapelle, Basoche in Paris and Abbeys of Youth. The Symbols and discourse of Mere-Folle succeeded to the carnival tradition of the middle ages. But they not only succeeded simply, but also moralized and politicized it. From the process, they developed Folly discourse. For them, Folly also was the wisdom that understood the world in different way and the political means that dissolved an existing order. They dissolved the medieval order and led a resistance culture by means of Folly discourse. And they made their unique identity.
