이중 배열 트라이 구조를 이용한 한국어 전자 사전의 구축 = Construction of Korean Electronic Dictionary Using Double-array Trie Structure

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국어 분석 시스템들은 대용량의 전자 사전을 요구하며 구축된 전자 사전은 형태소 분석 동안에 매우 빈번하게 검색된다. 효율적인 시스템을 위해서는 사전 크기에 독립적이면서 빠른 검색 시간을 가지고 트라이의 기본 특징을 유지하면서 기억 장소를 효율적으로 사용하는 사전을 구축해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 검색 속도와 기억 공간을 모두 고려해 볼 때 이중 배열을 사용한 트라이 구조가 한국어 전자 사전 구축에 적합함을 보인다. 이를 위해 우리는 음절 단위, 반음절 단위, 자소단위 방법으로 각각 트라이 사전을 구축하고 비교한다. 또한, 자소단위의 트라이 사전을 여러 개의 트라이로 분할함으로써 검색 속도는 그대로 유지하면서 기억 공간을 거의 절반으로 줄일 수 있음을 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean analysis systems require a large-scale electronic dictionary and the built dictionary is very frequently searched during the morphological analysis. For the more efficient system, we must construct the dictionary that has fast size-independent search time and makes efficient use of storage which preserves the basic characteristics of the Trie. With respect to storage and search time, we show, in this paper, that the Trie using double array is suitable for Korean electronic dictionary. For this purpose, we built Trie-dictionaries in syllable-unit, semisyllable-unit, and phoneme-unit methods and compared them with each other In addition, we show that the size of storage of the phoneme-unit Trie-dictionary can be reduced by approximately half by dividing the dictionary into multiple Tries with the same search time.
