In this paper, we have attempted to examine biotechnology Industry Innovation according to「Industry Policy」 change in japan. Recently the japanese government stresses the importance of industry-government-academic relationships. i.e., strengthening high-tech industry in order to create new business and to recover competitive advantage between international-regional pipeline.
The japan's bio-tech industry has benefited from deregulation and other developments that are encouraging the formation of its national and regional innovation system. Particular notes are the spread of bio-tech ventures, university-based bio start-ups and regional bio-tech industry cluster. Most of all. the full-scale startup of bioventure businesses by universities has been one of the factors behind the revival of japan’s bio-tech industry. The Findings of this study also point to the need for further research on industy-government-academic relationships within the regional industry cluster as a whole.
