공개공지 조성실태 및 이용행태 분석에 기초한 공개공지 세부설계지침 설정에 관한 연구

The aim of this study is to develop the design review checklists about pubic open space attached to building. For this purpose, the design characteristics and use behavior of ten pubic open spaces located in Kwangju city are preliminary examined in detail. The design characteristics are analysed in aspects of location, size, visuality, microclimate, boundaries and transitions, seating, pubic art and service facility of pubic open space. Uses and activities within pubic open space are examined in aspects of the number of users, use time, activity types. This analysis focuses on what design factors determines the usefulness of pubic open space. Based on the results of such an analysis, we recommends the design review checklists which is including the items of basic legal requirements, location, size, visuality, microclimate, boundaries and transitions, seating, pubic art and service facility, function and activity of pubic open space.
