Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of self-efficacy within the impact of vocational ability on disability acceptance. Method: Data from the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled in 2021, which deals with job ability, self-efficacy, and disability acceptance was utilized to achieve the purpose of the study, and the answers of 3,031 people were extracted. The reliability and validity of questions from the survey were all analyzed. To analyze the moderating effect, multiple regression analysis and Process Macro were used. Results: First, the level of vocational ability of the people with disabilities within the study was below average, but the level of self-efficacy and the level of disability acceptance were above average. The correlation between job ability and self-efficacy, job ability and disability acceptance, and disability acceptance and self-efficacy were meaningfully positive, according to the statistics. Second, the moderating effect of disability acceptance was negative on the effect of job ability on self-efficacy. Conclusion: Based on the results, the comprehensive and practical ways to improve the self-efficacy of people with disabilities are shown, considering the vocational ability and disability acceptance.
