세계 자동차 기업의 효율성 및 생산성 평가

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 DEA와 Malmquist 분석을 기반으로 글로벌 자동차 기업의 연구·개발 효율성과 생산성을 분석하였다. 기존의 연구·개발 효율성 및 생산성 분석 관련 연구들은 다양한 분야에서 이루어졌지만 대부분 정부출연연구기관이나 산하 사업에 한정되어있었고, 분석 결과가 전략 도출로 연계되거나, 통계적으로 검정되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 IR(Innovation of R&D Technology)과 DR(Diffusion of R&D technology into DMU)을 기반으로 Quadrant 분석을 하고, Quadrant 분석 결과와 한국 자동차 기업과 글로벌 자동차 기업의 효율성 및 생산성 차이점을 비모수 검정을 통해 분석하였다. Quadrant 분석 결과, 글로벌 자동차 기업의 연구·개발 생산성은 양극화 현상을 확인하였다. 각 사분면에 속한 글로벌 자동차 기업의 연구·개발 IR, DR, MI 값의 차이가 있는지를 Kruskal Wallis 검정 결과, 모든 연도의 IR, DR, MI 값이 Quadrant 별로 차이가 있는 것으로 검정되었다. 본 연구의 방법론을 활용해, 효율성 및 생산성 분석의 결과가 전략 도출로 연계될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study analyzed the efficiency and productivity of global automotive companies' R&D using DEA and Malmquist analysis. While previous research on R&D efficiency and productivity has been conducted across various fields, it has predominantly focused on government-funded research institutions or affiliated businesses. These studies often lacked strategic derivation or statistical validation of their findings. This study addresses these gaps by conducting a quadrant analysis based on IR (Innovation of R&D Technology) and DR (Diffusion of R&D Technology into DMU). Additionally, it compares the efficiency and productivity differences between Korean and global automotive companies through non-parametric tests. The quadrant analysis revealed a polarization in the R&D productivity of global automotive companies. The Kruskal-Wallis test results indicated significant differences in IR, DR, and MI values across quadrants for all years. By employing the methodology of this study, it is anticipated that the efficiency and productivity analysis results can be effectively linked to strategic derivation.
