      In Korean Church history who is taken such emotional honour heroically later was being memoried her martyrdom for three years by one beloved disciple? Moreover, it is impossible that a female Church leader who was going to minister in a tiny solitary island( is called Jeoung-Do; writer) for patriarchal society which martyr Jun-Kyoung Moon(59 ca.) was going to work took such admirable respect from Korean Christians. Those who knew about martyrdom entertainment of Jun- Kyoung Moon for Korean war, at 1950. 10. 5. don`t forget the just that day to be taken as a rank of martyrdom and is going to memory her sacrifice for Christ until now on. It is very rare event and very dynamic figure, because this story of woman martyr here in Korean Church history continually to be concerned.
      I can draw two kinds of answer why it is. First, it expresses woman martyr, Jun-Kyoung Moon`s martyrdom is correct and clear red martyrdom which her blood sacrificed on the earth for Christ. Second, later on when she sacrificed herself because of Christ`s name by the cruel hand of communist many rural people were taken impact and began to receive the Christian Gospel and are living Christian life still. In present Korea the highest place of believers` distribution is this island Jeoung-Do which Jun-Kyoung Moon was martyred. Also so brilliant Korean leaders testimonies personally they were taken the deep impact by her martyrdom. The rate of Christian number of local citizen arrives almost 95%. It is marvelous figure in Korean revival movement of Korean Church history.
      This thesis is analyzing the such wonderful story of martyrdom, although I was feeing so difficulty of sources. As much as I was observing her story I could find out huge result and her story can help to understand what is the essence of Christian teaching to human. Nowaday, there was built very beautiful memorial hall to honour her story and her life and many pilgrims are visiting and challenged by it.
      Through this humble thesis I tried to reveal the background of this martyrdom, which was 4.3 event of Je-Ju island in a fore part and later part of it I introducing many testimonies of her sons of Christian faith and relative testimonies of eyewitness concentrating to scientific study about her martyrdom story. I confronted the limitation for this work. But I was eager to find out new documents about the event and also to help suggesting the basic legacy for martyr memorial rite.
      Apostle Paul remained what is the sign of Christian leader like this “From now on, let no one make troubles for me; for I bear the marks of Jesus[m] on my body.”(Gal. 6:7; NABRE) There is appearing the sign of Christian, stigma in a Greek I believe just it means Christian identity which is Church identity as a bride of Christ. On this point it was so hard situation Korean people took Christianity as their own faith traditional Culturally and historically of religion. But receiving her Korean Christians made so wellknown to world Christian history. What did make such situation to us? I believe the answer have to be revealed to just there which we can understand as martyrdom the mean of Apostle Paul`s word.
      In conclusion, I believe the heritage of Korean Christianity through her martyrdom coming close not only to ourselves emotionally, but also giving impact to world Christians outside of us. For this result I was eager to complete this thesis. And finally I could conclude a martyr dose not rise up just in its case, but it has to follow the traditional guideline. Therefore, I also argued who were her mentors in belief and ministering life and introduced three Korean Church leaders through this thesis.
